تحتل السفارة العراقية في لندن موقعاً استراتيجياً وحيوياً لتعزيز اواصر العلاقات التاريخية والمستمرة بين العراق وبريطانيا، وذلك في ظل وجود نحو أربعة أجيال من المهاجرين العراقيين الذين يعيشون ويعملون في المملكة المتحدة.
وبهذا الصدد قامت سفارة جمهورية العراق في لندن باطلاق “ملتقى الطاقات” والذي يسعى لتنمية الروابط بين البلدين، خاصة بين مجتمعاتهما الريادية، عن طريق تحويل هذه الروابط الثنائية إلى فرص. ويطمح الملتقى إلى تحفيز شراكات الابتكار بين المؤسسات التكنولوجية العراقية والبريطانية مع التركيز على إلقاء الضوء على التآزر وتعزيز التجارة وتسريع التنمية. ويهدف “ملتقى الطاقات” إلى تعزيز الازدهار عبر الشركات الناشئة العراقية والبريطانية في مجالات التجارة الإلكترونية والتكنولوجيا المصرفية والصحة والتعليم والسياحة.
The Iraqi Embassy in London maintains profoundly historical and ongoing ties between Iraq and the United Kingdom. With approximately four generations of the Iraqi diaspora living and working in the UK, holding a strategically vital position to foster connections.
The Taqat Forum endeavours to cultivate bonds between Iraq and the UK, particularly amongst their enterprising communities. By translating these bilateral connections into opportunities, the Forum aspires to catalyse innovation partnerships between Iraqi and British technology enterprises.
With an emphasis on illuminating synergies, driving commerce, and accelerating development, the Taqat Forum stands to strengthen prosperity across vibrant Iraqi and British startup ecosystems in E-Commerce, Fintech, Health, Tourism, Investments and the Creative Sector.
