The Iraqi embassy honors scientific figures in Malaysia
The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Kuala Lumpur continues to approach and engage the Iraqi diaspora in Malaysia and pay special attention to Iraqi talents. The Chargé d’Affairs Mohammed Falih Hammood together with the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Malaysia Dr. Ahlam Nimah Laftah hosted Dr. Mohammed Al-Obaydee Associate Professor at Taylor’s University founder of (AIC4ALL) at the embassy headquarter on Wednesday 17th of January 2024 to honor him for being selected by (Britishpedia Media Group) as one of the successful personalities in Malaysia for the year 2023.
Dr. Mohammad Al-Obaydee provided a brief explanation on Britishpedia Media Group and his work in artificial intelligence and data analysis. The Chargé d’Affaires expressed his pride in the presence of such Iraqi scientific figure in Malaysia and hoped that the Iraqi diaspora to be the best representative of public diplomacy. He also spoke on the importance the Iraqi government give towards competent Iraqi scientists residing abroad.
The Cultural Attaché in Malaysia Dr. Ahlam Nimah Laftah expressed her pride and appreciation to the Iraqi scientific figures that is present within the mission area. Further emphasizing the important role these figures play in the development and strengthening the relationship between Iraq and Malaysia creating opportunities for cooperation between universities from both sides.
On the other hand, Dr. Mohammed Al-Obaydee expressed his pleasure with communicating and cooperating with the Iraqi Embassy in a way that serves Iraq, and thanked the Embassy for this honor.
At the end of the honoring meeting Dr. Mohammed Al-Obaydee was presented with a certificate of appreciation from the Embassy of Iraq, given by the Chargé d’Affairs.
After the Embassy concluded their most sincere congratulations and appreciation towards these excelling Iraqi figures for their accomplishment, it also like to praise their efforts on their humanitarian service and their pride as Iraqi citizens, who presented a good image for their home country, we wish for their continued progress and excellence in their endeavors.
