Foreign Minister Meets Arab Ambassadors and Members of Accredited Diplomatic Missions in Islamabad

On the margin of his visit to Pakistan, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met with Arab ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions.
Developments in the Arab, regional and international arena, in addition to efforts to reduce tension throughout the region were reviewd during the meeting. 
The Minister stressed the need for more efforts and coordination between Arab countries to confront attempts of aggravating relations amongthe peoples of the region, and creating an atmosphere of tension, noting that Iraq faced ISIS terrorists who came from different countries of the world in defense of itself, and on behalf of the whole world , clarifying that Iraq will not be a battlefield, calling for respect Iraqi sovereignty and to stop violations.
The Minister pointed out to the Iraqi government’s preparations to hold the elections on time, according to the criteria and conditions that restore the Iraqi people’s confidence in the feasibility of the political participation. He also touched on the meeting of Iraq’s neighboring countries that will be held at the end of this month in Baghdad.
His Excellency spoke about the security situation in Afghanistan and its dangerous impact on the region, as it has happened in the past.
His Excellency stressed the importance of relations with Pakistan in the military fields and the development of the economy, education and health sectors.
