The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq attends a ceremony held at the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the signing of the United Nation’s Charter.


The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad, Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam Muheisen, attended on 24/10/2019, the celebrations of the United Nations Day, an anniversary on 24th October of each year.
The celebrations are considered as the largest international celebrations for peace, culminating in the signing of the Charter of the United Nations in 1945 after conflicts and wars in which mankind suffered due to its devastating effects on peoples.
The celebration of the United Nation’s Day is considered a celebration of 47 years of international partnership; embodied in the establishment of the United Nations as a platform for all the nations and their peoples to discuss their various issues, to work through their agencies and offices around the world, to work together with governments, to overcome challenges, to develop solutions and strategies, to help them move forward on the path of progress and prosperity.
