Acting Chargé d’ Affairs in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad meets the President of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry



The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs Counselor Mr. Abdulsalam Saddam Muheisen, met on 18/10/2019, with the President of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Saboor Malik, in addition to a number of businessmen in Pakistan.
 
   This meeting comes as part of a series of meetings conducted by the Acting Chargé d’ Affairs, with keenness to develop bilateral relations in all aspects, most significantly the investment side, because of Iraq’s fertile ground to attract investment companies to work in the reconstruction of infrastructure.
 
On the other side, Mr. Abdul Salam invited the Pakistani investment companies to work in Iraq and this call comes within the policy of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry to open up to countries, especially in the area of ​​investment and security.
 
Moreover, Mr. Saboor Malik welcomed the visit, which he described as a mission, while calling for intensifying meetings between the two sides to come up with a common ground that would benefit the two countries.
