Acting Chargé d’ Affairs in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq meets the Director General, Protocol Division at the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


The Acting Chargé d’ Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad Counselor Mr. Abdul Salam Saddam Muhaisen, met on 15/10/2019, the Director General, Protocol Division at the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Abrar Hussain Hashmi, accompanied by Mr. Aseel Noori, Incharge of Protocol Affairs at the Embassy.
 
The two sides discussed a number of important issues related to the Mission’s work, particularly the coordination of work between the Pakistani Foreign Ministry and the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Islamabad and on various issues of common concern.
 
They also discussed the issue of the Arbaeeniya visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, this year, and the ways to provide services to Pakistani visitors and overcome all difficulties confronting them.
 
On the other side, the Acting Chargé d’ Affaires pledged, as of his duty, to overcome all the difficulties that stand in front of the Pakistani visitors who intend to go to visit the holy shrines in Iraq, pointing out that the Iraqi State Institutions pay unmatched attention to the success of the Arbaeeniya visit, in addition to providing all the facilities that will bring comfort and reassurance to visitors of the holy shrines.
 
Finally, Mr. Abrar Hussain Hashmi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the staff of the Iraqi Embassy in Islamabad and the relevant Iraqi authorities regarding the facilities provided to visitors of the holy shrines in Iraq, while conveying his greetings to his Iraqi counterpart in the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
