Consul General of the Republic of Iraq in Glasgow Meets with the Consul General of the United States in Edinburgh

Mr. Aws Mahmoud Agha, Consul General of the Republic of Iraq in Glasgow, met with Ms. Catherine Porter, Consul General of the United States of America in Edinburgh.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for cooperation and ways to strengthen engagement with Scottish institutions, particularly in the fields of education, culture, and academic exchange, with the aim of further developing relations and enhancing the partnership between the Republic of Iraq and the United Kingdom.

Both sides underscored the importance of continuing coordination, consultation, and the exchange of views on issues of mutual interest in a manner that serves shared interests and further strengthens the bilateral relations between the two countries.
