Consul General of the Republic of Iraq in Glasgow, Mr. Aws Mahmoud Agha, Receives the Dean of the Consular Corps in Scotland and a Number of Heads of Diplomatic Missions.

The Consul General of the Republic of Iraq in Glasgow, Mr. Aws Mahmoud Agha, received the Dean of the Consular Corps in Scotland, Ms. Lorna Jack, in the presence of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Austria, Mr. Christoph Kripaz, the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye, Ambassador Hakan, and the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Somer Javed.

During the meeting, the participants reviewed ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination among the diplomatic and consular missions operating in Scotland. They also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest aimed at enhancing consular cooperation, exchanging expertise, and fostering continuous communication among members of the diplomatic and consular corps.

The participants underscored the importance of holding regular meetings to further strengthen professional relations among the missions, coordinate joint efforts in support of the interests of the communities residing in Scotland, and contribute to reinforcing the bonds of cooperation and friendship between the countries represented by these missions.
