The Permanent Representative delivers Asia-Pacific Group’s statement at the 69th Executive Session of the Trade and Development Board
The Permanent Representative, Amb. Dr. Hussain Al-Khateeb, delivered the statement of the group at the sixty-ninth executive session of the Trade and Development Board/ TDB, on February 5th, 2020 at Palais des Nations in Geneva.
The PR commended UNCTAD Secretary-General for his efforts, and expressed, on behalf of the Asia-Pacific Group, the willingness to contribute actively to the preparation of UNCTAD 15 conference, to be held next October in Barbados. The PR reiterated the need to revitalize the Intergovernmental Machinery in UNCTAD, and welcomed the Least Developed Countries report 2019.
