The Minister of Foreign Affairs meets spokespersons and directors of the information bureaus of ministries and government institutions.

H.E. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, met at the Ministry’s Headquarter in the presence of H.E. Dr. Salih Hussain Ali Al-Tamimi ,the Undersecretary for Political Planning and The Acting Dean of the Foreign Service Institute, the Lecturers and Trainees Participating in the Training Course for spokespersons and directors of information bureaus of ministries and government institutions on the sidelines of the training course organized by FSI in coordination with the General Secretariat of Ministers Council in the fields of (etiquette, protocol, body language and public speaking art).

H.E. The Minister welcomed the participants, stressing the importance of the role of public speaking in influencing public opinion and interacting with the means of communication, as well as the importance of body language in the work of the spokespersons and its impressions on the recipient.

On their part, the participants expressed their gratitude to H.E. The Minister for this meeting and FSI’s efforts regarding the good preparing and organizing for this Course to develop the capabilities of the spokespersons in their fields of work.

The Undersecretary for Political Planning, and Acting Dean of FSI, Dr. Salih Hussain Ali Al-Tamimi, also met the Lecturers and Trainees Participating in the Training Course for Spokespersons and Directors of Information Bureaus of Ministries and Governmental Institutions, welcoming them and affirming the Ministry’s care to cooperate fruitfully with government institutions to provide the best in developing the skills of their employees.

 At the end of the meeting, H.E. The Undersecretary distributed Certificates of appreciation to the participating Lecturers and Trainees, who in turn thanked H.E for the good hospitality and good preparation and organization provided by the Deanship of FSI.

The meetings were attended by the Assistant Dean of FSI, Iman Jaber Al-Zubaidi, and the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, director of the training section, second secretary Faisal Abdel-Ilah Al-Farhoud, and the file officer, third secretary Omar Ahmed Abdel-Karim.
