The Ministry of the Republic of Iraq extends its sincere condolences and consolation to the Republic of India, and to the families of the victims of the tragic incident that occurred on Thursday 12 June, 2025, when an AirIndia plane crashed after taking off from Ahmedabad Airport, with (242) passengers and crew.

The Ministry expresses its deep sorrow for this saddening incident and offers its utmost consolation to the families of the victims from the United Kingdom, the Republic of Portugal and canada. ‎

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the full solidarity of the Republic of Iraq with the governments and the peoples of the affected countries, praying to the Providence to encompass the victims with his overwhelming bliss and bestow his solace on their families.
