A statement of solidarity with Professor Munjed Al-Modarres

The embassy of the republic of Iraq in Australia expresses its denounce of the media campaign,  which included allegations that have not been proven true by the health institutions,  Especially since the doctor was known for his pioneering work in his field of specialization, which exceeded more than four thousand successful operations, with receiving the award of  ((Australian of the year)) in the state of New South Wales in 2020, and in recognition of his surgical innovations and humanitarian work within a specialized surgical team that travelled to Iraq and a number of countries in the world to treat the war victims.

In appreciation of this great efforts, we announce our solidarity with Professor Munjed Al-Modarres, wishing him excellence in his work.
