A high-level Iraqi parliamentary delegation arrived in Bucharest

A high-level Iraqi parliamentary delegation arrived in Bucharest , Sunday, March 17, 2024, where they were received by the Acting Chargé d’Affaires, Dr. Alaa Al-Saadi, and the embassy staff. The delegation, led by Dr. Dylan Ghafoor Saleh, Chairwoman of the Foreign Relations Committee, included members of the Iraqi Parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee: Dr. Haider Al-Salami, Dr. Mohammed Sadiq Khoshnaw, Dr. Narayan Aziz Taukozi, Ms. Soha Manea Jijan, and Ms. Hamsa Ahmed Aboud. This visit is part of official efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Iraq and Romania. The Acting Chargé d’Affaires and embassy staff warmly welcomed the delegation, extending their wishes for a successful and fruitful visit that would contribute to enhancing relations between the two friendly nations. The visit is expected to include a series of official meetings and discussions with Romanian officials, aimed at bolstering cooperation and deepening bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in areas of mutual interest such as economic and cultural exchange, as well as collaboration in civil aviation and air transportation.
