تُعربُ وزارة الخارجيةِ عن خالصِ تعازيها وصادقِ مواساتها إلى دولةِ قطر الشقيقة والجمهوريةِ التركيةِ الصديقة، على إثر حادثِ سقوطِ طائرة مروحية في المياهِ الإقليمية القطرية، نتيجةَ تعرّضها لعطلٍ فنيّ أثناء تأديةِ واجبٍ روتيني، مما أسفرَ عن وقوعِ عددٍ من الضحايا في صفوفِ منتسبي القواتِ المشتركةِ القطريةِ–التركية.

وإذ تُعبّرُ الوزارة عن تضامن جمهوريةِ العراق الكامل مع حكومتي وشعبي البلدين الشقيقين في هذا الحادث الأليم، فإنها تتقدّمُ بأحرّ التعازي إلى ذوي الضحايا، متمنيةً الشفاءَ العاجلَ للمصابين، والسلامةَ لجميع العاملين في المهام المماثلة.

Press Statement

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq expresses its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the sisterly State of Qatar and the friendly Republic of Türkiye following the crash of a helicopter in Qatari territorial waters, as a result of a technical malfunction during the performance of a routine mission. The incident resulted in a number of casualties among members of the joint Qatari–Turkish forces.

MOFA affirms the full solidarity of the Republic of Iraq with the governments and peoples of both brotherly countries in this painful incident. It extends its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured and safety to all those engaged in similar missions.
