نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية السيد فؤاد حسين يستقبل السفير التركي في بغداد

في ضوء مساعي نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية، السيد فؤاد حسين، للتعامل مع التطورات الراهنة في المنطقة ومتابعة تداعياتها، استقبل يوم الأحد الموافق 8 آذار 2026 سفير الجمهورية التركية لدى العراق، السيد أنيل بورا إينان، في مبنى وزارة الخارجية ببغداد.
وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث العلاقات الثنائية بين العراق وتركيا وسبل تعزيزها في مختلف المجالات، إضافة إلى مناقشة التطورات المرتبطة بالحرب الدائرة في المنطقة وانعكاساتها المحتملة على دول المنطقة.
وأكد السفير التركي، خلال اللقاء، قيام بلاده بمنح تأشيرات دخول (ترانزيت) لكافة المواطنين العراقيين العالقين في المنافذ الحدودية الجوية والبرية، في إطار التسهيلات التي تقدمها الحكومة التركية لتأمين عبورهم إلى وجهاتهم المقصودة.
من جانبه، أعرب السيد الوزير عن تقدير العراق لموقف الجمهورية التركية في هذا الإطار، مؤكداً حرص الحكومة العراقية على تعزيز علاقات التعاون الثنائي مع تركيا بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين الصديقين.
كما شدد السيد فؤاد حسين على حرص العراق على إبعاد تداعيات الأزمة الراهنة في المنطقة عن الساحة العراقية، والعمل عبر القنوات الدبلوماسية على الحد من آثارها السياسية والاقتصادية.
وأشار السيد الوزير إلى تداعيات إغلاق مضيق هرمز على الاقتصاد العراقي واقتصادات دول المنطقة، نظراً لما يمثله المضيق من ممر حيوي لتجارة الطاقة وحركة الملاحة الدولية، مؤكداً أهمية تكثيف الجهود الإقليمية والدولية للحفاظ على أمن الممرات البحرية وضمان استمرار تدفق التجارة العالمية، كما جرى التأكيد على أهمية التنسيق بين البلدين لتفادي الآثار الاقتصادية التي قد تترتب على تداعيات هذه الحرب.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein Receives the Turkish Ambassador in Baghdad
In light of the efforts of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein, to address the current developments in the region and follow up on their repercussions, he received on Sunday, 8 March 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Iraq, Mr. Anıl Bora İnan, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building in Baghdad.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and the Republic of Türkiye and avenues to enhance them in various fields. They also reviewed the developments related to the ongoing war in the region and its potential repercussions for regional countries.
The Turkish Ambassador confirmed, during the meeting, that his country is granting transit visas to all Iraqi citizens stranded at air and land border crossings, as part of the facilitation measures provided by the Turkish government to ensure their passage to their intended destinations.
For his part, H.E. the Minister expressed the Republic of Iraq’s appreciation for the position of the Republic of Türkiye in this regard, affirming the Iraqi government’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation with Türkiye in a way that serves the mutual interests of the two friendly countries.
H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein also stressed Iraq’s keenness to keep the repercussions of the current regional crisis away from the Iraqi arena, and to work through diplomatic channels to limit its political and economic impacts.
H.E. the Minister also pointed to the repercussions of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz on the Iraqi economy and the economies of regional countries, given the Strait’s importance as a vital passage for energy trade and international maritime navigation. H.E. emphasized the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to maintain the security of maritime routes and ensure the continued flow of global trade. The two sides also stressed the importance of coordination between the two countries to avoid the potential economic consequences resulting from the repercussions of this war.
