Ambassador of Iraq to Oslo Meets Head of International Organization of Migration (IOM)

 Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Oslo Dr Ali Yasin Mohammed Kareem has met on Wednesday 20/10/2021, the head of the International Organization of Migration (IOM) in Norway Mrs Vato Dialo and her assistant Mr Emil Anderson at the embassy building.

The Ambassador has welcomed the two guests, on their part, they congratulate the Ambassador for assuming his post, and she briefed on the organization’s latest activities and its work in the mission area and the   mount of services provided and mechanisms of voluntarily return for migrants.

H.E. the ambassador discussed the mechanisms of voluntarily return and whether there are registered Iraqi’s in at the organisation records within the voluntarily return program, Mrs Niay  replied as saying ” in the meantime, there are no one registered from Iraq in the  programme and all previous files were settled” , by the end of the meeting, the two guests expressed their gratitude to H.E. the Ambassador for the generosity and hospitality, they commended the embassy role for the cooperation in facilitating the process of the Iraqis who wish to return to Iraq, aiming to maintain the mutual cooperation in terms of voluntarily return cases to the benefit of the Iraqi subject’s services.
