The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the government and people of the friendly Kingdom of Spain following the collision of two passenger trains, which has had a profound humanitarian impact on the friendly Spanish society. During these difficult times, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and wishes the injured a speedy recovery.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirms its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Spain and its support for all efforts aimed at addressing the social, psychological, and economic consequences of this tragic incident. The Ministry also expresses its confidence in the ability of the competent Spanish authorities to overcome this tragedy, drawing on the wisdom of the country’s leadership and the resilience of its people.
