Foreign Minister Receives U.S. Chargé d’Affaires on the Occasion of the End of His Mission in Iraq

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, H.E. Mr. Fuad Hussein, received on Wednesday, 26 August 2026, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America, Mr. Joshua Harris, on the occasion of the completion of his mission in Iraq.

H.E. the Minister expressed his thanks and appreciation to Mr. Harris for the efforts he made during his tenure and his contributions to strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States, as well as enhancing cooperation and coordination in various fields.

For his part, Mr. Joshua Harris expressed his thanks to H.E. the Minister and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the support and cooperation he received throughout his tenure in Iraq, commending their commitment to strengthening relations between the two countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, H.E. the Minister wished Mr. Harris every success and good fortune in his future endeavors.
