Press Statement

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq expresses its solidarity with the friendly Republic of Indonesia following the earthquake that struck several areas across the country, resulting in a number of casualties and injuries, as well as significant material damage.

The Ministry extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Government and people of the Republic of Indonesia and to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery and the concerned authorities every success in their efforts to mitigate the effects of the disaster and overcome its repercussions.
