Press Statement

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the Republic of Iraq’s sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the Government and people of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic over the victims of the tragic road accident that occurred on the Deir ez-Zor–Damascus highway, resulting in dozens of fatalities and injuries.

The Ministry extends its heartfelt condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, praying that Almighty Allah may grant the deceased His vast mercy and bestow a speedy recovery upon those injured. The Ministry also reaffirms the Republic of Iraq’s solidarity with the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic during this tragic time.
