Press Statement

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—its government and people—following the crash of an Aramco helicopter in the Ras Tanura area, which resulted in painful losses.

The Ministry reaffirms the full solidarity of the Republic of Iraq with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during this tragic incident, expressing its wishes for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness upon the victims, patience and solace for their families, and a speedy recovery for the injured.

The Ministry also reiterates the Republic of Iraq’s support for the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during these difficult circumstances, praying to Almighty Allah to protect the Kingdom and its people from all harm and misfortune.
