The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the solidarity of the Republic of Iraq with the sisterly State of Qatar following the explosion that occurred in the Ras Laffan Industrial City, which resulted in injuries and losses.

The Ministry affirms the Republic of Iraq’s full support for the Government and people of the sisterly State of Qatar during this difficult time, and extends its sincere wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured and for the safety of those reported missing.

The Ministry also expresses its confidence in the ability of the competent authorities in the sisterly State of Qatar to address the consequences of the incident with efficiency and professionalism. It commends the efforts being made to protect lives and safeguard vital facilities, and wishes the State of Qatar and its people continued security and stability.

The Ministry reiterates Iraq’s full solidarity with Qatar in confronting the repercussions of this incident.
