Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Receives Phone Calls from Several Counterparts to Discuss Regional Developments

On Monday, June 23, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein, received a series of phone calls from a number of his counterparts in brotherly and friendly countries. The discussions focused on the rapidly evolving situation in the region and the serious escalation that threatens its security and stability.
During these calls—with the Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Badr Abdelatty; the Foreign Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr. Ayman Safadi; the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Georg Georgiev; and the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Badr Albusaidi —the ministers exchanged views on the latest political and security developments, stressing the importance of supporting regional and international efforts aimed at de-escalation and preventing further deterioration.
In this context, Minister Fuad Hussein communicated with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the call addressed the recent attack on the State of Qatar, and inquired the overall situation on the ground. Both sides emphasized the need to prioritize dialogue and work on avoiding further escalation and the expansion of the conflict in the region.
