Statement

The Foreign Ministry affirms that the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Tehran, along with the Iraqi consulates in the Islamic Republic of Iran, maintains their work continuously despite the exceptional circumstances the region is going through as a result of the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran by the Israeli entity.

The Iraqi diplomatic missions remain committed to providing consular services to members of the Iraqi community residing in different Iranian cities. They are also working to facilitate the travel procedures for Iraqi citizens who are currently stranded, ensuring their safe return to the country.

The Ministry reiterates its full commitment to safeguarding the interests of Iraqi citizens abroad and to offering the necessary support under all circumstances, particularly during times of crisis.
