Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein Discusses with his Saudi Counterpart Regional Developments and Implications of Recent Escalation

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein held a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

During the call, the two ministers discussed and assessed recent security developments in the region, particularly in light of the Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran and the potential implications it may have on regional security and stability.

They also reviewed the recent internal developments in Iran, the stances of various countries regarding this dangerous escalation, in addition to emphasized the importance of supporting the negotiation process concerning the Iranian nuclear program, and ensuring the continuation of related meetings and negotiations.
