Word of Thanks and Appreciation on the Occasion of the Conclusion of the 34th Arab Summit and 5th Arab Development Summit

As we conclude the 34th Arab Summit and the 5th Arab Development Summit, which Iraq had the honor of chairing, I would like to sincerely thank all the ministries, institutions, and supporting bodies, that contributed, with efficiency and dedication, to the success of both summits in a way that reflects Iraq’s status and its Arab and regional role.

The teamwork and coordination between all government entities helped in presenting a an honorable image of Iraq, reflecting its ability to host major events with efficiency and competence, and affirming its active presence in the Arab and international arenas. 

I would especially like to thank the staff of the Foreign Ministry for their outstanding and exceptional efforts as well as meticulous preparations, reflecting their strong sense of national duty and their commitment to presenting their country in the best possible way. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to all the specialized committees of the ministry for carrying out their roles with professionalism and responsibility.

I extend my sincere thanks to His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Tamim, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, for his valuable contributions to the High Committee. I also thank the Ministry of Interior, especially the Minister and the security forces, for their great efforts in keeping everything secure and organized.

I would like to appreciate the role of the Ministry of Culture, led by Dr. Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, for their cultural and media support, which helped present Iraq’s cultural and civilizational identity. Thanks also to the Ministry of Trade, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers headed by Dr. Hamid Al-Ghazi, and all their employees for their support.

I also appreciate the efforts of the Prime Minister’s Office and the President’s Office for their support and coordination. I also express my deep gratitude to the Ministry of Transport and the Civil Aviation Authority, the Ministry of Health, the Communications and Media Commission, and all Iraqi media outlets, especially the Iraqi Media Network, as well as the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate for their strong and continuous support.

These summits were truly national occasions, where everyone showed their commitment to serving Iraq and the Arab nation, reflecting the highest values of dedication and organized institutional work—efforts that deserve recognition and appreciation.

Finally, I thank everyone who contributed in their respective role to the success of the two summits. May God help us all to continue serving our country, our people, and our Arab nation.
