Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Receives Saudi Vice Foreign Minister

On Thursday, May 15, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein, received the Vice Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Engineer Waleed Abdulkarim. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers meeting, held at the Government Palace in Baghdad, in preparation for the 34th session of the Arab Summit, scheduled for May 17.

Minister Fuad Hussein welcomed the Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister and emphasized the strong brotherly relations between Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In addition he highlighted the importance of continued coordination and consultation between the two countries to strengthen joint Arab action and address current regional challenges.
