Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Receives Qatari State Minister for Foreign Affairs in Baghdad

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received Qatar’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Government Palace in Baghdad. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Arab Foreign Ministers’ Council, convened in preparation for the 34th Arab Summit set to be held in Baghdad on May 17.

Minister Hussein welcomed his Qatari counterpart and highlighted the strong fraternal ties between Iraq and Qatar. He stressed the importance of continued cooperation and coordination in support of joint Arab efforts and the promotion of Arab unity.
