Statement

The Foreign Ministry expresses the Republic of Iraq’s strong condemnation of the terrorist attack that took place in ​​Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in a number of casualties and the injury of dozens of innocent civilians.

The Ministry expresses Iraq’s solidarity with the friendly Republic of India in these painful circumstances, and it reiterates Iraq’s firm position rejecting all forms of terrorism, violence, and extremism, regardless of their motives and justifications.

As well the Ministry extends its sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to the government and people of India and to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured and that the region enjoy security and stability.
