Iraqi Ambassador in Cairo Receives Egyptian Assistant Minister of Transportation

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Cairo and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League Dr. Qahtan Taha Khalaf, received Major General Engineer Hossam El-Din Mustafa, Assistant Minister of Transportation for Roads and Bridges, at the Embassy headquarters.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between Iraq and Egypt in the transportation sector, especially in light of the urban developments in by Iraq with a focus on developing the infrastructure of roads and bridges.

As well, they reviewed opportunities for exchanging expertise in the fields of land, sea and air transportation, as well they touched on the possibility of implementing joint projects that contribute to enhancing trade movement and facilitating the movement of individuals between the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation in a way that serves common interests and contributes to strengthening bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
