Statement

The Foreign Ministry expresses its strong condemnation of the tragic vehicle ramming incident that accrued in the city of Munich in the Federal Republic of Germany, which resulted in the injury of a number of innocent civilians.

While the Ministry affirms its full solidarity with the friendly government and people of Germany in facing this criminal incident, it underlines Iraq’s firm position in rejecting violence and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, the Ministry also wishes a speedy recovery for the injured.
