Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets with Norwegian Counterpart on Sidelines of Davos Forum

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein met with his Norwegian counterpart Mr. Espen Barth Eide, on the sidelines of the Davos Economic Forum on 23 January 2025. The two ministers discussed the latest  political and security developments in the Middle East, which is witnessing rapid changes, and affirmed the importance of intensifying international efforts to achieve regional stability. 

Additionally they discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between Iraq and Norway, to achieve common interests and enhance cooperation across various areas.

The two sides underlined the need to continue dialogue and joint coordination to confront regional and international challenges in a way that contributes to achieving security and peace.
