Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Republic of Iraq in Manama Meets the Undersecretary of the Bahraini Ministry of Interior for Residency and Passports Affairs

The Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Republic of Iraq in Manama, Muayyad Omar Koberli, has met the Undersecretary of the Bahraini Ministry of Interior for Residency and Passports Affairs, Sheikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman al Khalifa. During the meeting, they discussed the importance of activating the bilateral cooperation between the two countries, in a way that lives up to the ambitions of the two brotherly countries.

The Chargé d’Affaires discussed with the Undersecretary the matter of facilitating the granting of visas to Iraqis wishing to visit the Kingdom within the framework of the communication between the two countries, and the entry of investors to be briefed on the investment opportunities in Bahrain. They also touched upon the topic of facilitating the Embassy’s communication procedures with the Judicial Departments in the Kingdom.

During the meeting, the Undersecretary revealed that the Kingdom of Bahrain allows entry to citizens of countries who hold a residency from one of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries without going through the procedures for obtaining a Bahraini entry visa.
