Undersecretary for Policy Planning Meets the Georgian Ambassador to Iraq

The Undersecretary for Policy Planning, Dr Salih Hussein Ali al-Tamimi, has met the Georgian Ambassador accredited to Iraq and residing in Amman, Mr Zaza Kandelaki. During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and means of enhancing the joint cooperation in all fields, in addition to a number of topics related to the consular affairs, where the Undersecretary affirmed the importance of opening a residing Georgian embassy in Baghdad within the framework of enhancing the diplomatic relations in the common interests of the two countries.

On his part, the Georgian Ambassador expressed the Georgian side’s willingness and endeavours to move forward in this direction.
