Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Abu Dhabi meets the Undersecretary Deputy of Protocol Affairs at the Emirati Foreign Affairs

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq (Dr. Mudhafar Al Joboury) met the Undersecretary Deputy of Protocol Affairs at the Emirati Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (Ms Aliaa Al Mahrazy) at the Ministry headquarters on Sunday 31/10/2021. They discussed ways of enhancing the cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

The Ambassador has affirmed Iraq’s desire to develop the relations and increase the joint efforts to achieve the high benefits for Iraq and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in a way which leads to deepen the partnership in various fields, first and foremost the diplomatic relations. The Ambassador mentioned that recurrent visits between the officials of both countries indicate the importance of these relations and results in achieving the benefits for both brotherly countries. The Ambassador has also discussed ways of enhancing aspects of bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two sides; the relationship between the Embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs; ways of providing assistance to the Embassy to perform its duties in the best form.

In addition, the two sides have discussed the mechanisms of visas issuance to official delegations and diplomatic missions; mechanisms of organising official visits on which they have agreed on the importance of maintaining the coordination between the Embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE. 

For her part, Ms Aliaa Al Mahrazy has emphasised the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide all facilitations and support to the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq; overcoming all obstacles facing its duties in order to enhance the relations of both brotherly countries which lead to increasing its development and enriching its progress.
