Interim Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Keeve has met the head of the fifth regional Directorate at the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Interim Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Ukraine (Minister Plenipotentiary Dr. Hussain Abbas Hussain) has met the Head of the fifth regional Directorate at the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ambassador Mikola Nagorni). This meeting came in the frame of constructive meetings to engage with Ukrainian Officials and Heads of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Ukraine.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Interim Chargé d’affaires has expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Ukrainian Official and congratulated him for the 30th Anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence praising the bonds of friendship and cooperation, which connect Iraq and Ukraine at all levels including political, economic, commercial, agricultural, military, cultural, etc.
The Interim Chargé d’affaires has reviewed the developments of situations in Iraq, especially the conduct process of parliamentary election on 10/10/2021, which is considered as an important event and big success for ongoing democratic political process in the country.
In return, Mr. Nagorni has welcomed the Interim Chargé d’affaires presenting his congratulations for appointing him in this important diplomatic position in Ukraine and wishing the success in performing his new duties. Also, the Ukrainian Official has expressed his country’s congratulations for the parliamentary election success in Iraq, confirming Ukraine’s keenness to develop bilateral relationships with Iraq in various fields on the basis of mutual interest for both friendly countries.
The meeting was attended by the Consultant Dr. Munadhil A’akif Hamody as a representative of the Embassy and Mr. Vladimir Martinok, first Secretary at the regional Directorate who is in charge of Iraq’s file from the Ukrainian side.
