Ambassador of Iraq to Budapest meets Hungarian Undersecretary of Interior for European Union Affairs and International Relations
The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Budapest, Ali Hadi Al-Bayati, met the Hungarian Undersecretary Minister of Interior for European Union Affairs and International Relations, Mr. Matias Hjjaly at the Hungarian Ministry of Interior Building. During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were discussed, including the issue of security and stability in the two countries, the impact of ISIS ideology on the youth segment and their future, in addition to the impact of political, security and economic instability in countries of the world on immigration to Europe.
The Ambassador praised the strong relations between the two friendly countries, praising Hungary’s role in combating terrorism and supporting Iraq by sending military advisors within the international coalition forces to combat the terrorist organization of ISIS.
At the end of the meeting, the Undersecretary Minister thanked the Ambassador for his visit, and expressed his regret over the fire incident that occurred in Nasiriya Hospital and Ibn-Al Khatib Hospital, and offered his condolences to the Iraqi government and the families of the victims.
