Ambassador of Republic of Iraq to Prague meets Czech Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Prague Sondos Omar Ali met the Undersecretary of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Czech Republic for Non-European Countries and Economic and Development Cooperation, on the occasion of the end of her duties.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Baghdad and Prague and the importance of continuing the Czech support to Iraq in its confrontation with terrorism, reconstruction, and the inclusion of all regions of Iraq in the projects of Czech program for development support. Noting that achieving stability, justice, peace and prosperity serves all the peoples of the Middle East region, the Ambassador, in her capacity as Chair of the OICPG, expressed admiration for Mr. Tlapa’s moral approach and his keenness for a balanced Czech policy in the Middle East. For his part, Mr. Talapa praised the efforts of the ambassador and her vital representation of her country in developing relations between Iraq and the Czech Republic, especially in holding the first round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, exchanging visits, expanding economic relations and increasing the volume of trade exchange, added to her active contribution to the activities and conferences sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the diplomatic sector as she serves as chair person for the Group of Ambassadors of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Member States accredited to Prague (OICPG).
