The Foreign Minister Receives a Copy of Credentials of New Brazilian Ambassador to Iraq and Invites his Counterpart to Visit Baghdad
Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received a copy of the credentials of Mr. Luis Evaldo, the Brazilian ambassador to Iraq.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to strengthen them for the interests of the two friendly peoples.
The Minister expressed Baghdad’s aspiration for a greater role for Brazil in various fields, stressing Baghdad’s interest in strengthening communication between the officials of the two countries and opening channels for bilateral cooperation, calling for the need to continue work to raise levels of coordination and consultation at all levels. Minister Fuad Hussein addressed an official invitation to his Brazilian counterpart to visit Baghdad wishing the Ambassador success in his duties in Baghdad, expressing the readiness of the Foreign Ministry to provide all services to the diplomatic mission to achieve common interests between the two countries.
