Foreign Minister Receives a Copy of Credentials of Tunisia’s New Ambassador to Iraq
Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received a copy of the credentials of the new Tunisian Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Reda Zaqedan, and the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Iraq and Tunisia, and ways to strengthen bilateral relations to the level of the two countries’ ambitions.
The Minister explained that the Iraqi-Tunisian relations are many and that we are keen to establish an excellent relationship based on rapprochement and brotherhood ties between the two peoples.
Minister Fuad Hussein stressed the importance of coordination and cooperation between the two countries to face the challenges facing the region, including terrorism.
On his part, Mr. Reda Zaqedan, Tunisia’s new ambassador to Iraq expressed his country’s interest in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, and willingness to cooperate in all fields, indicating his country’s keenness to coordinate and consult continuously with Iraq on various issues of common interest.
