Ambassador Zaid Izz El-Din: “I was keen to develop bilateral cooperation relations between Baghdad and Abu Dhabi”

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq, Mr. Zaid Izz Al-Din, praised the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Abu Dhabi, explaining that “ I was keen on developing bilateral relations and opening new horizons for cooperation between the two countries.”

This came in a speech during a farewell ceremony, via video link, held by the Foreign Ministry of the United Arab Emirates on the occasion of the completion of his duties as Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq in Abu Dhabi.

The Ambassador praised the support provided by the Emirati Foreign Ministry, and the positive interaction to improve fraternal relations and enhance them in various economic, political and security fields.

On his part, the Undersecretary of the UAE Foreign Ministry for the Protocol Affairs thanked the ambassador, wishing him success, and appreciated his great and important role in strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries. The ceremony was attended by Ambassador Shihab Ahmed Al Fahim, Undersecretary for Protocol Affairs at the UAE Foreign Ministry and International Cooperation, in addition to (23) ambassadors of the members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps present in Abu Dhabi.
