Press statement

The Iraqi Foreign Ministry has set a number of strategic objectives for its work, including facilitating travel procedures for Iraqi citizens and providing the required facilities outside the country.

In this context, the Egyptian side announced the provision of facilities for the entry of Iraqi citizens who want to travel to the Republic of Egypt by allowing Iraqis to keep their passports upon arrival, and not to withdraw them at the airport as it has been the case for years, and to allow the size of tourist groups to (5) individuals after the condition was (20) individuals.

This comes as a result of active diplomacy that is translated through bilateral relations so that the Iraqi citizen abroad enjoys the highest standards of respect, and as an upgrade in bilateral steps aimed at further bilateral cooperation.
