The Head of Mission Receives the Iraqi Delegation from the Ministry of Defense
The Chargé d’Affairs, Mr. Amer Abdulhussein Al-Fatlawi, received a delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Defense led by the Ministry’s Secretary-General Mr. Jabbar Thjaiel Mutlaq Al-Haidari at the Embassy on 31 August 2021 for the period of an official visit to the Croatian capital city Zagreb between 26th August and 1st September 2021. Secretary-General Mr. Al-Haidari was accompanied by Director General of the Ministry’s Budget and Military Programs Mr. Qais Muhammad Ali, and the Director of the Infantry Forces Major General Mr. Muhammad Soballah Muhammad Magasis.
The two sides discussed the importance of visiting the Republic of Croatia to develop means of military cooperation with the Croatian Ministry of Defense, as well as the significance modernizing the arm forces in order to achieve the desired goals.
The delegation also toured the sections of the Embassy and met the embassy’s staff. The delegation likewise thanked the staff for their contribution in making this visit one of the most successful official visits to Croatia. The delegation also showed appreciation to the Head of Mission and staff of the embassy for their continuous support to overcome the obstacles and in participating to accomplish the goals of the visit.
