The Head of Mission Meets Head of Sector for Africa and Middle East

On 05 May 2021, the Iraqi Chargé d’affaires a.i. Mr. Amer Abdulhussien Al-Fatlawi met Ms. Mihaela Baric the Head of Sector for Africa and Middle East at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, and Ms. Enisa Karamarko the Director of Service in the same Sector to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and what has been achieved during the earlier phases, including the establishment of the Croatian – Iraqi Friendship Committee in the Croatian Parliament, the memorandum of political consultations between the two countries, and the exchange of official visits.

During the meeting, Mr. Al-Fatlawi affirmed Iraq’s keenness to enhance cooperation in the field of security, economy, and culture, and pointed out to the ways that could encourage the Croatian companies and investors to enter the Iraqi market.

The meeting took place at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and was attended by Counselor Mr. Ammar Muhammad Dawood, and Second Secretary Mr. Khaled Abdulsattar Al-Ogaidi, as well as the responsible for Iraq’s desk at the Ministry Mr. Vladimir Hunjak-Štula.
