A Meeting Between the Head of Mission and the Head of Croatian – Iraqi Interparliamentary Friendship Group

Chargé d’affaires a.i. Mr. Amer Abdulhussein Al-Fatlawi, held a meeting with the Head of Croatian – Iraqi Interparliamentary Friendship Group Mr. Zeljko Pavic and members of the group; Erik Fabijanic, Davor Ivo Stier and Domagoj Hajdukovic, on Wednesday 3/24/2021, at the Croatian Parliament. From the Embassy, Counselor Mr. Ammar Mohamed Daoud, and Second Secretary Mr. Khaled attended the meeting. This is the first meeting after forming the Croatian – Iraqi Interparliamentary Friendship Group in the Croatian Parliament.

The Head of the group expressed his pleasure to be the first person in charge of the Croatian – Iraqi Interparliamentary Friendship Group. Mr. Pavic also conveyed his hope to expand cooperation frameworks between Croatia and Iraq, and his enthusiasm to make these relations reach a higher and better level. The Group members expressed their pleasure to see the remarkable success of Pope Francis’ visit to Iraq and commented on the warm reception by the Iraqi people.
