Foreign Minister: We wish the two parties of the conflict (Azerbaijan and Armenia) to return to the negotiating table … from past experiences, and based on our principles, we do not view violence and war as a way to achieve goals
Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein called on the two parties ofthe conflict (Azerbaijan and Armenia) to rely on negotiations and adopt political solutions in resolving the dispute between them based on the principles of international law and resolutions.
This came in the phone call that Minister Fuad Hussein received from his Azerbaijani counterpart Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov to inform Iraq of the crisis between the two countries, the historical roots of the conflict, and the current state of war.
Minister Fuad Hussein stated: Our wishes for the parties of the conflict to return to the negotiating table, and added that from our previous experiences and as a result of the region’s exposure to many wars, and based on our principles, we do not see violence and war as a way to achieve goals.
