Foreign Minister and his Kuwaiti Counterpart Discuss Strengthening Trade and Investment Fields

oreign Minister Mohamad A. Alhakim met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al- Muhammad Al-Sabah on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
The two sides discussed ways to develop the prospects of bilateral cooperation, especially on the security side, and Minister Alhakim expressed Iraq’s interest in the file of Kuwaiti prisoners and missing persons.
The two Ministers also discussed the importance of developing cooperation in the field of trade and investment, and encouraging Kuwaiti investors to invest in Iraq, especially following up the results and commitments of the Conference for the Reconstruction of Iraq, and achieving more economic openness in addition to working out all points of disagreement in a way that benefits the peoples of the two brotherly countries.
