Foreign Minister Meets his Saudi Counterpart
Foreign Minister Mr. Mohamad A. Alhakim met with the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two brotherly countries, and ways to activate cooperation in various fields, including the political and economic fields, especially in the field of establishing industrial zones, electrical connectivity and investment companies.
Minister Alhakim discussed with his counterpart the initiative of Iraq by inviting the Foreign Ministers of neighboring countries to meet, and consult in order to complete the success of the meeting of Arab parliaments in Iraq called for by the Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
The two Ministers also discussed a number of issues of concern to both countries, including the so-called deal of the century, Gulf and navigation security.
On his part, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud expressed the Kingdom’s keenness to move forward with the agreements signed between the two countries.
