Both ambassadors of the Republic of Iraq to the Vatican, Dr. Amal Musa Hussein, and the Iraqi Ambassador to the Republic of Italy, Mrs. Safia Talib Al-Suhail, received the President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Barham Salih, and the accompanying delegation, formed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Mr. Fuad Hussein, and a number of the Government advisors and officials, reached Rome on Friday evening, January 24th 2020, At Ciampino airport, for an official short visit to meet the Holy Father in the Vatican, and to discuss the latest evolvements in the region and the world’s need for peace, moreover to discuss the agenda of the upcoming visit of the Holy Father to Iraq.
