The Ambassador attends the Embassy of Oman accredited to Italy, reception on the occasion if the country’s National Day

The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq accredited to the Holy See (Vatican) Dr. Amal Mousa Hussein attends on Thursday 21stNovember, the reception of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman accredited to the Republic of Italy, on the occasion of the National Day of the country, held at the hotel (Parco deiPrincipi) at the Italian capital,Rome.

            At the outset of the ceremony, Ambassador Dr. Amal presentedher congratulations and best wishes to the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Ahmed bin Salim bin Mohammed, where her excellency recalled her previous post as Ambassador of the Republic Iraq in the Sultanate Oman (for the period 2013 to 2017) she stressed the importance of developing the relations between the two brotherly countries, wishing the Government of the Sultanate of Oman further progress and prosperity.

            During the ceremony, the Ambassador also met with several ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions, including Princess Alia of Jordan and Ambassador Paola, ex ambassador to Italy to the Sultanate of Oman, where they discussed the latest political and security developments in the Iraqi arena, as well as some regional and international issues, witnessed by the world nowadays.
